Providence Medical Group is calling a Billing Scheduling Coordinator to our clinic in Hood River, OR.
This is a 0.6 FTE (weekdays) position and will float between Ear Nose & Throat, Cardiology and Surgery clinics. The hours and schedule will be variable, depending on needs of the clinic. This is a benefited temporary position. "
this position, you will:
* Coordinate scheduling and billing of clinic services.
* Obtain and manage referrals and prior authorizations.
* Answer phones and otherwise respond to patient inquiries and requests and direct them appropriately.
* Schedule various patient appointments.
* Check patients in/out for appointments. "
Required qualifications for this position include:
* 2-4 years of working experience in a health care setting or medical clinic setting
* Strong knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding
* Knowledge of insurance and referrals
* Data processing skills
* Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills "
Preferred qualifications for this position include
* Medical clinic experience
* Extensive customer service experience
* Data processing skills in computerized appointment scheduling, word processing, and spread sheet
* Epic experience "
