Job Description Details
Under the direction of the department supervisors, processes new receipts via PCMS (Product Central Management System).
Unloads trucks and palletizes freight at the receiving dock.
Sorts Inbound shipments by courier and SO document.
Reviews paperwork against physical items received to verify all items are present.
Removes new products from original packaging, preps the product according to commodity. Places product in a QVC tote, box, hanger or bag for put-away. Put-away all totes and hanging garments that are housed in the “main” storage area. All warehouse items are prepped and staged on pallets. The supervisor is notified for put-away assignment to PCs.
Responsible for identifying, labeling, re-boxing and palletizing product for the remote broadcasts.
Partners with PCs and Show Checkers to expedite items when items are needed immediately for the show.
Uses IBM mainframe to identify shipping warehouses, determine shipping document and/or troubleshoots shipments for unidentified or wrong items as they are received into Product Central. Alerts supervisor of any discrepancies.
Utilizing the product matrix form, identifies overages at time of receipt and coordinates OS process with IC.
Enters new receipts into PCMS, generates bar code labels and selects appropriate container type for storage.
Partners with IC team when out of certain storage locations to expedite location generation for put-away.
