QVC is seeking a Senior Manager Inventory Control Network Analytics to lead and develop a team of operational analysts supporting the Network Inventory Control Operations teams. The selected candidate provides ongoing effort to develop, improve and maintain a proactive, strategic business analysis function focused on improving operational effectiveness, service, cost and culture.
Who We Are:
Position works closely with the network IC/QA manager, Area Managers, Site GM's within the Customer Distribution Services organization to translate key operating Key Performance Indicators (KPI) opportunities into data driven recommendations. This leader will be responsible for the integrity and quality of data and the recommendations as well as development and support of the implementation of key technical, business and BI tools required to support the scalability and infrastructure of the IC network. The selected candidate will lead in the development and implementation of business rules that convert data into KPI metrics used to drive operational effectiveness and improve the overall customer experience.
Manages and develops network KPI models, visualization and trend reporting, proactive approaches to business analysis, aggregate information, implement strategies into organizations.
Leads analyst, processes, data gathering and output of materials necessary to create reports, analyze and actionable recommendations.
Provides direction upward and downward to implement opportunities for improvement.
Meets with senior leaders within Customer Distribution Services Operations to understand business trends and develops analysis on the impact to the operation and the customer. The completed analysis will lead to a presentation to the leadership team with the recommendations that will mitigate business exposure and improve efficiency.
Provides overall leadership and development of site analyst teams. Aggregates information providing wide ranging and detailed short-term proactive analytics and operational insights.
Acts as a liaison with IT regarding existing information infrastructure, for its' maintenance and improvement. Key focus is on the data integrity of the various data sources. Works to define all business rules to ensure consistency in reporting and analysis across Customer Distribution Services.
Establishes methods for oversight of systems and sources of data. Ensures quality of data, analysis and recommendations.
Provides guidance to Analyst team and IT to define reporting business rules to ensure consistency in reporting (basis for analysis and recommendations) for the enterprise.
What You Bring :
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience.
Minimum of 10+ years' analytical experience, preferably within distribution operations.
3-5 years Supervisory experience (people management).
Advanced knowledge of SQL, MS Access and MS Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
