Description

RemX is looking for a polished and people-oriented Receptionist / HR Admin to join our client in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team-player with excellent customer service skills in order to serve as the first point of contact for a mid to large sized organization. Will additionally provide all around administrative support to the HR department. This is a temp to hire opportunity paying $17-19/hr located in the Poway area.

Responsibilities:

  • Corporate Receptionist duties: provide excellent customer service and greet all incoming visitors, answer incoming calls and route to appropriate parties, announce visitors to appropriate manager for interviews, meetings, and events
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team and other executives
  • Answer phones, screen calls, and transfer to the appropriate party
  • Help with coordinating company events and meetings; assist Safety committee with gathering appropriate forms and communicate information to employees
  • Data entry, filing, and scheduling sensitive HR documentation and new hire paperwork with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Assist with collecting and auditing timecards. Assist with Benefit open enrollment and processing 401k paperwork
  • Enter sensitive information into the company's HRIS
  • Assist with all other HR and administrative tasks as assigned


Job Requirements

  • High school diploma minimum, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of HR and/or administrative experience, previous front desk experience is also desired
  • Ability to multitask and highly adaptable to changing situations
  • Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, organized, independent and proactive
  • Team player, willing to jump in and help where needed
  • Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and intermediate MS Office skills; HIRS experience is a plus
