Position Title: Senior Product Line Manager

Location: Westford, MA

Position Summary:

Ribbon Communications is seeking a full-time, experienced Product Manager who will be responsible for the overall solution creation and management of the companys Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings. This critical leadership position is responsible for ensuring that effective solution offerings are well aligned with customer expectations, are operationally manageable, and are effectively translated into engineering requirements. Ribbon is seeking an experienced professional with a solid background in creating new SaaS-based solutions. The position provides leadership, project management, and cross functional coordination throughout the product development lifecycle.

This position reports to the Sr.Director of Product Management.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain the products and features roadmap, and manage prioritization and tradeoffs with customer experience

  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional leaders to support the strategic product directions

  • Create white labeled, hosted solutions for channel partner sales

  • Collaborate with other Ribbon functions to establish, implement, and maintain standardized product development and product management processes and procedures to ensure optimal performance throughout the new product life cycle, product release cycles.

  • Act as the representative to internal and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Coordinate commercial and go-to-market launch activities across functional teams.

  • Manage high-value customer and strategic partner relationships

  • Coordinate RFI/RFQ/RFP responses and field trials as necessary

  • Develop requirements for all client communications, sales presentations and training materials.

  • Create/edit/maintain product collateral, whitepapers, presentations as needed by the organization

  • Create product requirements documents (PRDs), provide input to marketing requirements, architecture documents, and review and approve functional specifications documents

  • Generate product pricing and packaging, product SKU creation, work with sales team on product quotes

  • Prioritize software development resources balancing customer needs and company revenue targets

  • Conduct design reviews of use cases and user product designs with UX Design, Engineering and QA

  • Work collaboratively with Solution Marketing to assist with the go-to-market for the analytic based applications

Required Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in product management
  • Experience in creating new hosted/XaaS solution offers
  • Understanding of public and private cloud architectures

  • Strong acumen, background, familiarity with VoIP industry and trends
  • Ability to effectively tailor the communication of technical and non-technical information to different audiences
  • Ability to develop and coordinate relationships to effectively manage operational execution
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams across organizations in multiple geographic locations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with leadership and management focus

Education Requirements:

BS/MS in Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering, MBA preferred
