Want to oversee the day-to-day accounting and finance operations of an award winning public affairs consultancy firm? Located in the heart of San Franciscos Financial District, their Partners are looking to bring on an Accounting/Finance Manager will be a fundamental contributor to the production of the firms accurate financials! This position will report directly to the firms Partners. Job Responsibilities: -Process accounts payable, accounts receivable and general accounting functions. -Performing month-end closings -Assist with preparing the trial balance and financial statements -Payroll processing using PayChex and/or ADP -Primarily involved in the analysis and evaluation of financial records and the interpretation and application of financial guidelines and the organizational internal financial policies. -Review and process vendor invoices, generate and review payment reports, draft and review service contracts and reconcile client billing reports for accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

Qualified candidates for this Accounting/Finance Manager role should have: -4-year BS Degree with a major in accounting or finance -Minimum 5-years work experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger; auditing experience is a plus -Advanced Excel and Access will be preferred -Knowledge of reconciling subsidiary accounts to control accounts and maintain books through trial balance will be considered an asset -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Working experience with ADP, NetSuite, Xero and/or QuickBooks online would be an asset
