Mike Cox (Mike.Cox@roberthalf) of Robert Half Finance & Accounting has an excellent and immediate opening for an Accounting Manager at a progressive Hospitality company. In this role, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. An integral part of this position is establishing and scaling company accounting and finance operations. Based in the Beverly Hills, California area, this Accounting Manager position is a terrific opportunity for full-time employment. Your responsibilities in this role - Collaborate with FP&A and accounting management to develop relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook - Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines - Possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems - Assemble a variety of technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses - Play a key role in system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration of NetSuite Financials - Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts owned by Senior Accountant - Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements, which includes data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes


- Deep understanding of financial statement preparation - Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings - Command of general ledger - Foundational knowledge in budget forecasting - CPA/MBA preferred - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience - Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively - Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable - Recent relevant financial experience - Customer service oriented communication skills - Solid technology and analytical abilities
