This Bookkeeper role will be located in the Oshkosh, Wisconsin area and will be a full-time position. The Bookkeeper is in charge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliation, and month-end closing. Furthermore, the Bookkeeper will manage a general ledger reconciliation or light journal entries, full cycle A/P coding, cash applications, and perform data entry. Your responsibilities in this role - Work on special projects occasionally - Draw up cash flow projections, as needed - Assemble monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents - Get ready subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement - Keep general ledger updated - Administrate Accounts Payable - Direct monthly accounting close - Accounts Receivable - Catalog sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments - Accomplished in credit card management and reconciliation - Help with monthly accounting close

Requirements

- Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why" - Strong attention to detail - Accounts Payable (AP) experience - Well-founded grasp of QuickBooks - Proven knowledge of financial statement preparation - Accounts Receivable (AR) experience - Full Cycle Payroll experience - Local Payroll Tax experience preferred - Sales and use tax experience - Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision - Strong time management and organizational skills - 3+ years of related experience - Prior accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred - Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment - Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills - Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines - Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
