Bookkeeper / Office Manager Robert Half has partnered with a valued company in Farmington Valley in their search of a Bookkeeper Office Manager to join their growing business. They are a Professional Services company so ideal candidates will come from a similar environment. The Bookkeeper Office Manager position will have a 50/50 split of administrative and accounting responsibilities. This is a newly created position open due to growth within the firm. This is a full-time, permanent position with a client of Robert Half. Desired Experience; - AS/BS Degree - 3+ years of Bookkeeping & Office Management experience - QuickBooks proficiency Key Responsibilities include: - Bank reconciliations - Monthly Journal Entries - Ordering supplies - Processing vendor invoicing/payments - Expense reports - Quarterly reporting - Opening and distributing the daily Mail - Faxing and Printing - Ordering lunches for the office - Scheduling travel for partners - Greet clients in office Our client offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes a salary up to $65,000 (DOE), health insurance, 401k contribution, and paid time off. Requirements

- Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well - Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment - Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must - Excellent oral and written communication skills - 5+ years of related experience- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines - Comprehensive knowledge of bank reconciliations - Knowledge of Monthly Journal Entries - Dynamic accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred - Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks - Candidate must possess first-rate analytical, quantitative and social skills
