Robert Half Finance is seeking a candidate with a thorough understanding of finance and strong communication skills for a Financial Analyst role. An innovative company is seeking applicants to join their growing team. Daily functions include conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. This Financial Analyst role is located in the Westmont, Illinois, and it is a full-time employment opportunity. A candidate who's highly-skilled in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management is wanted by an innovative team as a key business partner. Your responsibilities in this role - Produce and monitor forecasting reports - Endorse weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings as well as P&L forecasting - Recognize potential risks and opportunities while analyzing performance to date - Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required - Flexible individuals comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations - Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are properly executed - Explain and understand internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending - Ensure business partners handle their resources by tracking monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations - Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization - Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support - Work with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process If interested, please email your resume to anne.kile@roberthalf.com

Requirements

- Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required - Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system - Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Firm understanding of problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field - Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions - Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations - Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience favored) - Comprehensive knowledge of sales analysis & reporting - Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills If interested, please email your resume to anne.kile@roberthalf.com
