Jennie Joiner is on the look out for a talented Full Charge Bookkeeper for our Eugene client. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will manage full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation and audit. The self-driven and organized accounting professionals might be interested in this Bookkeeper role if they thrive under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. This full-time employment opportunity is based in the Eugene, Oregon area. Your responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: ? Manage Accounts Payable: o Process subject and talent checks o Manage vendor invoices o Review and process recurring payables and employee reimbursement requests o Compile credit card receipts, classify, reconcile and enter for monthly payment o Maintain all accounts payable files ? Manage Accounts Receivable: o Invoice, receive, and reconcile customer payments o Monthly review of accounts receivable, initiate appropriate collection action or write-off as needed o Assist with grant draw (AR) ? General accounting functions necessary for the day-to-day operations of the business including: o Bank account reconciliation o Prepare weekly bank deposits o Prepare reports as needed for operations, and provide analysis as required o Run payroll through Zenefits (or similar) payroll processing platform o Payroll tax deposits o Payroll quarterly reports o Assist with annual Indirect Cost Rate proposal o Manage inventory in Quick Books o Assist with annual audit o Assist with preparation of contracts and addendums, as needed o Compile annual SAIF report to fulfill compliance requirements Skills and Qualifications: ? Proficient in Quick Books ? Experience in payroll processing ? Experience preparing state and federal payroll deposits and reports, including W-2 and 1099 Forms ? Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) ? Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Education and experience: ? Requirements

- Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred - Remarkable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred - Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement - Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment - Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills - Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred - Comprehensive knowledge of account reconciliation - QuickBooks experience - Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Excel - Deep understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) - Proven knowledge of Excel Formulas - Expertise in general ledger - Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines - Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
