Robert Half is looking to hire a new Full Charge Bookkeeper. You will monitor audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, and financial statement preparation as the Full Charge Bookkeeper. The Full Charge Bookkeeper might also govern the clerical staff. If you're looking for a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision, you might be interested in this Bookkeeper role. We are looking for accounting professionals who are accomplished and organized. Your responsibilities in this role - Log budget transfers - File cash flow projections, as needed - Capable in credit card management and reconciliation - Organize sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments - Look after Accounts Payable - Report business license and gross receipts - Work on special projects occasionally - Put subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirements together - Create cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc. - Conduct monthly accounting close - Experience with Accounts Receivable - Produce monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents


- Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills - Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills - Foundational knowledge in Month-end Close Activities - Proven knowledge of payroll - Microsoft Excel experience - Deep understanding of journal entries - Accounting Functions experience highly desired - Basic Bookkeeping experience desired - Considerable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred - Excellent verbal, written, and social skills - Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines - Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity - Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
