HR Generalist Robert Half has partnered with a successful company looking for an HR Generalist. The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties and works closely with the senior HR management team. This HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law. Responsibilities: Support and communicate HR policies, procedures and benefits to staff Ensure compliance with Federal and State labor laws (i.e. applicant tracking, etc.) Help with recruitment efforts, as needed Post job descriptions on career portals Process pre-employment reference checks and drug screens Input information into the HRIS system as needed Oversee the performance management process, train employees on the appraisal process and coach the executive team on agency processes regarding individual development planning, special performance issues and terminations Coordinate, track and input performance appraisals on a timely basis Conduct exit interviews for terminating employees Maintain manger and employee confidence by keeping human resources information confidential Develop positive employee relations by responding to all employee questions and concerns in a timely and thorough manner Help develop and implement training projects, presentations and workshops Research and recommend industry seminars for employees, as needed Enter time reports once a week, at a minimum, and expense reports within 10 days of incurred expense Handle other duties as assigned by supervisor


Bachelor?s degree in related field of study or equivalent HR work experience 3+ year progressive track record in Human Resources Management SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills Excellent judgment coupled with a high degree of integrity and trust The ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times Ad Agency experience?knowledge and experience working with account management and creative talent a major plus Organization development, recruitment, performance management and employee relations expertise Solid understanding of HR standards, employment laws and policies Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications Team player and team builder who enjoys/excels at motivating and developing the potential of others The proven ability to work with all levels of management Achievement orientation?a desire to initiate positive change on an ongoing basis An interest in learning, with the desire to expand your professional HR skills and take on increasing levels of responsibility
