Description

Robert Half Finance and Accounting has partnered with a growing company in North Dallas to identify a Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager should have 5 + years' experience as a Human Resources Manager with a Bachelor's Degree. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for hiring, retention, termination, personnel records, legal compliance, compensation, benefits, and staffing strategies, and payroll administration for 200 + employees. Responsibilities include development and administration of personnel rules and regulations, pay and job classification structure, and programs for employee training, safety, health, and morale. The position will also be responsible for the following: <LI>Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all 200 + employees. <LI>Plans, organizes, and controls all activities of the department. Participates in developing department and organization goals, objectives, and systems. <LI>Manages multi-state payroll and HRIS within a third party relationship of a PEO. Responsible for independently managing bi-weekly, multi-state payroll. <LI>Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required. <LI>Oversees maintenance of accurate and complete employee related records. <LI>Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. <LI>Oversees preparation of job descriptions and compensation programs. Seeks incentive programs that encourage excellent performance and increase retention rates. <LI>Works directly with outsourced professional employer organization (PEO) in support of payroll, benefits review and implementation and human resources support. Acts as company liaison for the PEO provided human resource system (HRIS). <LI>Works with top management to set long-term staffing goals and strategies. Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, and temporary employees; employee relations counseling, and exit interviewing <LI> Identifies training needs for business units and individual coaching needs. Requirements
