Robert Half HR Services is partnering with our highly reputable, south metro client to identify a critical hire within their human capital team. In this strategic and tactical role as Instructional Designer, you will design, develop, implement, evaluate, and maintain training content and be a key contributor in our clients Learning and Development team. This is a key role to the overall success of our clients business and will work in close collaboration with various leaders throughout the organization to assess learning gaps. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working independently and collaboratively at develop training materials that are suited for all delivery types including digital and classroom experiences and have experience working within InDesign to create print-ready materials. In this role you will be responsible for: Writing clear and concise behavior-based curriculum while incorporating the our clients culture and brand standards Collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop accurate content and ensure effective delivery strategies are realized (classroom, blended, eLearning) Identifying opportunities for multimedia technologies to enhance classroom-based instruction, self-study, or electronic/print tools to support training and development in the field Maintaining an understanding of our clients Learning Management System to adhere to its governance standards throughout any new training development project Evaluating the results of any training program designed and developed by the Learning and Development team and modify future programs to better meet the needs of the organization Work specifically with InDesign to create print-ready materials and partner with external clients for professional printing Administering training within the LMS (load courses, support other department administrators and pull scheduled and requested training reports) If you are interested in exploring this opportunity please contact Jason Pfieffer at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 612-656-0201.
3-5 years of instructional design experience/curriculum and training development experience Strong computer skills including Google Suite and Microsoft Office, Development and deployment applications; Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Captivate/Lectora, LMS Aptitude to meet commitments and deadlines, work independently and collaboratively as required Handles change well, self-motivated and stays focused under pressure Results oriented, including a strong sense of urgency Highly organized and superior attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high energy environment Demonstrated project management skills Well-developed skills in critical thinking, problem solving, planning, organization and execution Clearly communicate how to effectively perform soft skills and complex technical tasks
