We have a challenging role available with an industry leader for qualified Payroll Administrators who are seeking a career growth opportunity. Robert Half Finance and Accounting is currently staffing for a Payroll Administrator position for one of their clients. You should have the ability to communicate effectively and deliver strong internal customer service while working in a deadline-driven environment. The accurate and timely production of payroll for employees will be ensured by the Payroll Administrator in this position. Don't wait - apply today! Your responsibilities - Ensure timely processing of payroll in accordance with labor regulations and standard accounting principles - Perform review of data entered by others in the payroll software to include, but not limited to salary/wage increases, benefit deductions, employee termination dates, and employee leaves of absence under FMLA or other unpaid leave - Lead regular payroll reporting as required and assist with financial audits related to pay records and associated general ledger - Pool resources with Human Resources, Information Technology, and other internal business partners to ensure security protocols for pay systems - Generate systems and protocols to direct the collection, calculation and entering of pay data - Manage quarterly and year-end payroll reports - Inquire fringe benefit reporting, pay practices related to FLSA, and other payroll areas to determine how those practices apply to advise management - Process voluntary deductions, as well as wage garnishments, pay levies, and other involuntary court-ordered payments in a timely manner, including reporting to the necessary authorities - Aid staff with wage deductions, fringe benefits, pay related issues, PTO accruals, and general questions related to payroll - Honor current payroll tax requirements and relevant laws associated with the processing of employee wage data, including payroll taxes, employee federal and state income and social security taxes and other required reporting For immediate consideration, please email resume in Microsoft Word format to Joseph Avignone at joseph.avignone@roberthalf.com.

Requirements

- ADP Workforce Now experience - CPP or FPC is preferential - 2+ years of payroll experience - Background in garnishments, various withholdings, and processing liens - Need to have practical experience in an HRIS system and high proficiency with spreadsheets
