Robert Half Finance is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join a dynamic team at one of our clients! This position is ideal for individuals seeking a challenging position with a prominent industry leader and a strong career growth opportunity. Based in the Seattle, Washington area, this position would be needed on a full-time basis. Salary: DOE Responsibilities: -Maintain office efficiency by fulfilling clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc. -Perform other duties as assigned -Obtain timesheet approvals by contacting employees via email and phone -Gather data into spreadsheets and the payroll system -Ensure reports are distributed as instructed -Instruct and train employees in the use of payroll-related systems -Produce and run custom reports Qualifications: -Consistently, accurately process payroll for 2000+ employees. -Manage workflow as prescribed to maximize efficiency -Audit timesheets accurately to ensure wages and benefits are properly distributed -Accurately record and document all transactions, as directed. -Research, analyze, and resolve all discrepancies -Participate in end-of-month closing and audits -Demonstrate respect for confidentiality Contact Information: Ariel Janikowski, 206.749.0960,


- Outstanding data entry skills - Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel - Prior Payroll software experience preferred - Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities - Previous payroll experience - Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement - Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well - Skillful in learning new processes and systems
