A Property Accounting Manager position is available through Robert Half Finance on an urgent basis at a rapidly expanding and on-the-rise Real Estate & Property company. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties for your assigned portfolio. You will establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. Your responsibilities in this role:
Possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies
Provide regular review and analysis of balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Work closely with FP&A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Lead and supervise the accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure close deadlines are met
Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, which includes document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes for portfolio of properties

Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Customer service oriented communication skills
