Your responsibilities as the Senior Accounting Specialist: - Process accounts payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing - Reconcile discrepancies, and prepare correction documents as needed, by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts - Classify documents with the proper expenditure codes and accounting codes - Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned - Produce statements and reports using a variety of sources - Assist with general accounting tasks, including G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other ad hoc projects - Manually or electronically post financial information - Process Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance

Requirements

Must haves of the Senior Accounting Specialist: 1. RECENT Microsoft Dynamics GP experience in Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Financial and Administration Modules 2. Bachelors Degree 3. Accounting experience GL, Credit reference checks, collections, inventory, processing AR and AP payments, inventory, office management
