Description

There is an immediate need for a Project Manager with a company in the Oak Creek, Wisconsin area via Robert Half Management Resources. Interested candidates will be proficient in accounting functions and systems and a true competence for keeping financial projects on schedule and creating successful outcomes. The Project Manager moves toward a mutual goal with a team of Business Analysts in order to complete detailed requirements documentation, a responsibility that may involve data mapping to accounting systems for proper accounting and reporting of transactions. You'll need to bring a knack for cross-functional collaboration, as this role will require you to incorporate input and feedback from the accounting leadership team and from key participants in other functional areas. Key responsibilities - Develops and manages work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports, issue management and risk mitigation - Launches governance approaches for the projects to result in consistent and clear communication as well as issue resolution - Interacts with business users to define and analyze business requirements - In addition to meeting project sponsor expectations and understanding business drivers, you will negotiate changes, when required, to project scope, timing, or resources to make sure strategic solutions are delivered - Interacts with the development team to analyze business requirements as well as business process design - Coordinates priorities of concurrent project and support assignments, in addition to meeting stakeholder expectations

Requirements

- Keep in touch with executive management, team members, business and technology professionals via both written and oral methods - An understanding of system projects in a key accounting role is preferential - Versatile project planning abilities that include project costing techniques - Having a Project Management and/or Business Systems Analyst Certification is a plus - Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains Accounting - Billing experience - Billing Functions experience highly desired - Knowledge of Billing System - Billing Statements experience preferred - Comprehensive knowledge of account management - Adeptness in Oracle ERP - It's required that candidates have knowledge of project management software such as Microsoft Project, SmartSheet or other similar applications - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance & Project Management detail oriented (PMP) Certification - Possess skill set to successfully analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction - Able to apply independent judgement and act on it - Candidates should have know-how in business and technical requirements analysis, documentation, modeling and testing methodologies & development
