Description

The PC Technician Role is a long-term temporary-to-full-time opportunity and will be located in the Charleston, South Carolina region. Key responsibilities - Ensure the integrity of all electronic data records by following company quality standards - Record daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions or installation activities - Manage inventory of equipment, including collaborating on potential purchases - Ensure that ticket submitters receive frequent and effective communication - Image and prepare new computers - Complete PC-to-PC data transfers and troubleshoot software/hardware and break/fix - Communicate with suitable vendors to coordinate needed repairs - Own and complete technology implementation projects - Install, troubleshoot and repair printers - Take down, box, move and set up/install on site - Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and refurbish a variety of computer hardware, including PCs, laptops, monitors, servers and other IT equipment - Take down, box and ship out of date equipment - Assist with functionality testing and end user support

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience supporting PC and Mac hardware and software, as well as knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN - Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments - CompTIA A+ certification mandatory - Familiar with network design and implementation strategies - Adeptness in Audio Conferencing - Audio Equipment experience - Foundational knowledge in Audio Visual - Comprehensive knowledge of Computer Hardware - Demonstrated knowledge of customer service - Command of Hardware Troubleshooting - Deep understanding of Network Hardware - Strong problem-solving skills - Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds - Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
