Robert Half Technology's Desktop Support Technician role is for someone with a flair for clearly breaking down and explaining convoluted technical information in a way that is easily understood by non-technical users. Located in the South San Francisco, California, area, this Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term temporary in nature. What you get to do every day - Match hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors - Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters - Provide support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems - Offer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures - Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities - Support, examine, and repair computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals - Fix computer problems, and recommend appropriate action/solutions

Requirements

- Desktop support or related experience - Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing - Expertise in Database Migration - Proven knowledge of Basic Troubleshooting - General familiarity with Troubleshoot Network - Well-founded grasp of Network Troubleshooting - Microsoft Office 365 experience preferred - Experience with Microsoft Office 365 - Data Migration experience desired - Proficiency in MS Windows 10 - Practical knowledge of Troubleshooting Network
