Robert Half Technology is searching for a PC Technician for a role who can communicate with technical and non-technical users understandably and concisely and who can solve complex technical issues. If you are self-motivated, a problem solver, and interested in a positive, dynamic environment, you could thrive in this role. For the long-term temporary PC Technician role, you will be positioned in the Seattle, Washington area. What you get to do every single day: - Image and prepare new computers - Document all daily data communication transactions, issues and solutions or installations - Interface with ticket submitters regularly and effectively - Install and repair printers, troubleshooting problems as needed - Take responsibility for technology implementation projects and carry them out - Help test functionality and support end users - Disassemble, box and ship equipment that is out of date - Communicate with suitable vendors to coordinate needed repairs - Track equipment inventory, and suggest and assist with purchases - Ensure the integrity of electronic data records, acting in accordance with company quality standards - Complete PC-to-PC data transfers and troubleshoot software/hardware and break/fix - Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and refurbish a variety of computer hardware, including PCs, laptops, monitors, servers and other IT equipment - Handle disassembly, boxing, movement and setup/installation on site


Requirements - CompTIA A+ certification required - High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills - 3+ years of experience supporting PC and Mac hardware and software, as well as knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN - Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement - An understanding of networking such as switching and routing is preferred - Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds - Be able to adapt and thrive in constantly changing environments - Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint If this sounds like a good fit, please send your resume to Erin Keating at
