The PC Technician Role is a short-term temporary opportunity and will be located in the Edison, New Jersey region. Your responsibilities - Coordinate with the appropriate vendors to arrange repairs - Take down, pack, transport and set up/install on site - Handle all imaging and preparation tasks for new computers - Take responsibility for technology implementation projects and carry them out - Ensure the integrity of all electronic data records by following company quality standards - Keep track of equipment and collaborate on possible purchases - Take down, box and ship out of date equipment - Document all daily data communication transactions, issues and solutions or installations - Support functionality testing and end users - Install, troubleshoot and repair printers - Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters - Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and refurbish a variety of computer hardware, including PCs, laptops, monitors, servers and other IT equipment - Complete PC-to-PC data transfers and troubleshoot software/hardware and break/fix


- Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments - Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement - CompTIA A+ certification required - Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds - 1 - 3 years of experience supporting PC and Mac hardware and software, as well as knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN - Solid understanding of information technology - Detailed and have the ability work independently - Well versed in network design and implementation strategies
