Reporting to the manager of Performance Improvement while working collaboratively with Clinical Directors to support agency improvement activities, organizing and providing new hire onâ€‘boarding and agency educational programs. 30% of time will be related to staff development and 70% will be on improvement work including data collection, analytics and LEAN improvement activities. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED 3 to 5 years experience Responsibilities: Is a resource and active participant in agency performance improvement activities, including being a resource for LEAN tools, coordination of lean Kaizen events, providing data collection, data analytics and visual management of data to clinical directors/leadership. Is the agency resource for coordinating educational programs with internal and external speakers; associate facilities as identified by leadership. Assist in the oversight of Healthstream (online educational learning) requirements. (Provides updated reporting on compliance, may coordinate module release, and data entry for courses completion by staff). Assists the Clinical Staff Development Specialist in data collection and analysis related to infection prevention, policies, procedures and regulations. Assist with the development and distribution of patient education materials. Plans and coordinates onâ€‘boarding of new agency staff. Including: agency orientation, EMR access, shadowing experiences and staff clinical equipment. Coordinate transition of department level training to appropriate personnel. (Department manager/preceptor). Tracks agency clinical competencies completion and manages spreadsheet data entry. Coordination of student and shadow opportunities when approved by clinical leadership. With the clinical Staff Development Specialist is responsible for the agency flu and wellness program by coordinating and organizing flu vaccines and Wellness clinics. Performs other duties as assigned.
