Partners in Urology and RWJBarnabas Health are seeking a board-certified/board eligible Urologist in Somerville, New Jersey. This is an ideal opportunity for an eager physician to join a team of three other experienced providers at a busy practice with a robust referral network within the RWJBarnabas Health umbrella. Shared call between the team allows for great work life balance. Duties will involve collaboration with the wider RWJBarnabas Health system, and new staff will obtain privileges with the nearby Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset.
New staff will be opened to opportunities to receive mentorship on advanced Urologic procedures at a facility with cutting-edge technology, as well as to teach Urology residents within the RWJBarnabas Health network. This a chance for an ambitious Urologist to receive experience and guidance not available elsewhere while receiving support from a seasoned support staff.

Successful candidates will be:
- ABU Board-certified/Board-eligible
- NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ
- Fellowship training is preferred but not required

About Partners in Urology:
Our practice has been located in Somerville for over 20 years. We are very well connected in the hospital with both Dr. Catanese and Shah being division chief of Urology and Chair of Surgery over the years. In terms of surgical volume at the hospital, we are the busiest urologic practice. We continually try to bring new technology to the hospital and most recently purchased the Moses holmium laser system. Between all the providers, we are able to provide patients with all-encompassing urologic care. We are continually looking to grow our practice and improve patient care. In January 2022, we moved into a newly constructed building where we now have more exam rooms, large procedure rooms, and brand-new equipment. We are looking to also have satellite offices as well in the surrounding towns, while using only one primary hospital. In addition to using RWJ Somerset, we also perform procedures at a thriving surgery center. Starting June 2022, Dr. Patel will start performing gender confirmation surgeries at RWJ Somerset. While providing excellent care and looking to expand our practice is of utmost importance, we also believe a work-life balance is just as valuable and work to support each other when needed.
