Performs psychological and neuropsychological evaluations of children and their families. Reviews referral data, conducts intakes, keeps ongoing progress notes on the diagnostic management of each patient, administer tests, collaborates with related professionals, prepares a written report in a timely fashion, conducts feedback session with a parent/guardian, disposes of report appropriately, maintains records on each client. Provides individual and/or group psychotherapy and/or psychological interventions to patients and their families as assigned. Reviews referral data, conducts intake session, collaborates with related professionals, keeps progress notes on the therapeutic management of each patient, maintains contact and feedback with parents/guardians, maintains records on each client in compliance with the program s documentation policies and procedures. Additional clinical responsibilities extend services offered. Consultations for inpatients at the physicians request, consultations through outpatient settings in the hospital and community, consultations with hospital staff, parents, teachers and referring agencies with regard to specific patients, trains residents by teaching them individually or through group presentations, other services as the need arises, conducting parent groups, etc.
Minimum Education: Doctorate in Clinical or School Psychology.
Minimum Experience: 1-2 years previous clinical experience
Req. Cert/Reg: N.J. licensed Psychologist and N.J. School Psychology Certified preferred.
