Gone are the days of boring government video. Core Creative is a fast-paced production environment in stride with current industry trends. We provide multimedia production support to multiple Intelligence Community customers. The Video Shooter/Editor will work with our team of top creative professionals to develop high-end videos and multimedia content in support of our customers' missions. The Candidate will work in a dynamic setting; helping to define customer requirements, develop solutions and create innovative production concepts. Put your creativity to work. Core Creative creates scripted videos, short and long-form documentaries, and original video content for web and other presentation formats. Help define USG messaging for the 21st century. Collaborate with excellence by working with the best in the business. Lead productions in our studio, as well as on location across the country and around the world. This position will be located in Chantilly, VA, some travel may be required. All candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance.

Job responsibilities include:
Light, shoot, and edit as part of our video production team, be involved in productions from script to screen.
Collaborate with production teammates (animators, graphic designers, audio engineers, web developers, and creative directors and producers) to incorporate multimedia elements into video products.
Film interviews, events and b-roll in single camera or multi-camera configurations.
Set up of lighting, camera, audio equipment and scene/set for location and studio shoots.
Edit single or multi-camera footage according to tight scripts and storyboards or loose project manager/customer guidelines.
Record, edit and master audio (voice-over, dialogue, sound FX, music)
Interact and coordinate story elements
Perform still photography and other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in a Design-related field. Minimum three (3) years professional experience in multimedia design.
Must demonstrate in-depth, working knowledge of industry-standard multimedia production technology, including software and hardware.
Must demonstrate sophisticated aesthetic, technical skill, and knowledge of current media trends.
Must be highly motivated, and able to work well alone and as part of a team.
Familiarity with professional video production procedures, practices, techniques, and terminology.
Experience with EFP, digital post-production, various video formats and transcoding, encoding, and authoring for distribution.
Ability to prioritize and address multiple, concurrent projects, with varying production timelines.
Excellent communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills.
Proficient camera operator (knowledge of Panasonic, Blackmagic URSA a plus)
Proficient in setup of field and studio lighting for single and multi-camera shoots
Proficient with audio recording and monitoring equipment
Proficient in video ingest and logging process, transcoding and various video codecs, formats and standards.
Proficient in audio editing, music editing, mixing and mastering
Proficient in non-linear video editing (experienced with a variety of software)
Experienced with Apple Final Cut Studio (Final Cut Pro 7 and X)
Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite: Premier, Media Encoder, Photoshop
Experienced with audio recording and editing software (ProTools, Apple Soundtrack Pro, Adobe Audition, Apple Logic Pro)
Experienced with various software and standards for video encoding, authoring and output for distribution to various formats, including DVD and web-distribution.
Experience with interview transcription and Closed Captioning software and formats
Experienced in still photography
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
