Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with members of the Medical Community to manage the approach to developing internal capabilities
  • Identify and align capability needs to sustain professional development that is required for medical community; training needs analysis
  • Facilitate the execution of onboarding/orientation and the reward and recognition program
  • Be accountable to deliver programs in the Medical Academy curricula, including:
    • Develop and implement training modules as necessary to meet capability demands
    • Maintain the training schedules, materials, tools, and templates
    • Facilitate the training programs or manage vendor relations
    • Track training attendance and related corresponding program success metrics
  • Partner with Medical Capabilities Colleagues and vendors to design/develop programs to support Medical curricula; Lead curriculum design
  • Implement cross-functional communication and change management plans to affirm customer adoption and business realization
  • Act as Learning Navigator for the Medical community to enable the professional medical journey
  • Contribute to analytics and metrics; Report cross-functional program status via Medical Capabilities and Management scorecard


  • Bachelor's Degree is required in Life Sciences or Business, and advanced degree preferred (MEd, MBA, PhD. PharmD); Learning and Development, Program Management, Change Management or related field is preferred
  • 7-10 years of experience and demonstrated skills in instructional design, developing, managing and delivering effective digital learning solutions in a large, complex organization with competing priorities
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Learning approaches and methodologies, digital design, AI, for example
  • Experience in capability development, strategies and tactics based on understanding of key audiences and corporate objectives
  • Experience in program management concepts, practices, strategies and tactics based on understanding of key audiences and corporate objectives
  • Self-starter, able to work independently
  • Strong analytical, planning, attention to detail and prioritizing skills
  • Project management and change management skills.
  • Strong communication skills to evaluate where capability gaps exist make recommendations to mitigate these gaps, and implement as necessary.
  • Ability to exhibit advanced communications skills, includes articulating complex ideas
  • Ability to influence multiple high level stakeholders across several functions, includes negotiation
  • Outstanding presentation and training/facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change through collaboration and to effectively plan, prepare for, and facilitate meetings to achieve the desired end result
  • Drive teams to achieve superior performance while creating a supportive developmental environment
  • Strong conflict management and influencing skills
  • Certifications in multi rater feedback tools, personality style assessments, business coaching, and learning tools
  • The ability to travel is essential
