Our Custom Designers create pattern and color development for all print, CYP and tufting equipment orders as it relates to all market segments in commercial flooring. This job works full time out of our Cartersville, GA Campus.
What you'll be doing:
Coordinate pattern and color development as it relates to market introductions.
Develop original designs appropriate to the product by using the computer aided design system (CAD) for development of new designs.
Create color lines for the assigned end use segment for the hospitality market based on sales information and current trends.
Conduct market research, tracking and evaluation of color and design trends in fashion, furnishings, etc. with little or no direction.
Develop and present product presentations internally and to customers.
Travel to and participate in industry design and trade shows as well as field testing new products and color lines with the A & D community.

Four year college degree and/or advanced degree: Textile, Fibers, Graphic and/or Interior Design.
Must have excellent knowledge of Photoshop and/or Nedgraphics.
Working knowledge of yarn/fibers and basic concepts of pattern design.
Exceptional aesthetic sense and intuitive understanding of design and color principles.
Patcraft is based out of Cartersville, Georgia, at the new Create Centre, an innovative facility that encourages collaboration and connectivity of commercial product development and marketing teams, as well as customers from around the globe.
