Tool Maker position is in a fast growing, quick turn, environment. Daily responsibilities will involve making jigs, fixtures, gages, prototypes, revisions on prototypes, and occasionally production work to help achieve company goals.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
*Candidate will be responsible for his/her project(s) as assigned and completing them in a timely manner while communicating any related issues with designers and engineers.
*Candidate will be responsible for 100% inspection of his/her projects.(Confirmation by inspection only when necessary)
*Components being released by the tool room are expected to be 100% compliant with print requirements.
Education and/or Experience:
*Candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a tool room environment with a Prototrak background.
*Must be able to read blueprints, set-up and operate all tool room equipment including milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders.
*Must have a solid knowledge in the correct usage of all measuring equipment required to perform their duties.
*Programming G-code and CAD experience is preferred but not required.
*Able to lift up to 25 pounds
*Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
