Skepton Construction, Inc., a commercial construction firm located outside of Quakertown, is seeking a part time Bookkeeper/Accounting Administrator to join our team. This position requires attendance at our office to complete the work.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Gathering and preparing payroll; Processing credit card activity; Processing receivables; New job set-up in accounting system; Monitoring accounts receivable trial balance; Filing all accounting items; Sales and use tax preparation and filing; Processing certified payroll reports; Reconciliation of accounts; Assisting Accounts Payable with invoice processing; Dealing directly with vendors and staff regarding invoices.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma, graduation from a vocational HS with Accounting or Bookkeeping certificate, or an Associate Degree in Accounting. Strong MS Office skills and strong math skills are required. Previous experience with accounting/finance software preferred. At least six months' experience in a Bookkeeper or a similar role is required.
