Under the immediate direction of the department director, the cardiac ultrasonographer is responsible for performing all diagnostic and therapeutic examinations performed in accordance with the orders and instructions of the referring physicians or cardiologist, rendering preliminary interpretation of exams, supervising control of work flow, assisting with clerical duties, and assisting with maintenance of equipment.
Education, Certification/Experience Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited vascular program
RDCS or RDMS credential
Active Membership in American Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
