SCOPE OF POSITION

This role is responsible for the success of current and future Revenue Management products, working with our business partners through design, build, launch, growth, and enhancement. This position will require using a mixture of analytical tools (such as SQL) as well as product development skills to improve Revenue Management decision making. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills and be comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.



Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Envision, articulate and prioritize a long-term Revenue Management product strategy designed to increase revenues and drive a competitive advantage for SP+
  • Help users leverage BI tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau to find trends and opportunities to optimize Revenue Management performance
  • Be the department SME on product design and functionality for internal and external tools
  • Build a knowledge of the digital ecosystem for parking including distribution channels
  • Liaison with external vendors
  • Define detailed requirements to support the strategic product direction, including user stories review, and clearly define user and customer acceptance test criteria
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development
  • Facilitate communication throughout the development process, ensuring product compatibility and adoption
  • Develop action plans to address technology issues hindering strategy and objectives
  • Perform KPI definition, collection, analysis and presentation to report on product progress


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years experience with pricing, revenue management or logistics software
  • Establish and manage product road maps
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and has a proven ability to operate well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization, externally and internally
  • Bachelor's Degree or 6 years equivalent work experience in similar type of role
  • Proper U.S. work authorization is required (current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship)

Other Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Pricing or Revenue Management discipline
  • Experience in product management
  • Related experience at an airline, hotel, rental car, logistics or retail company
  • Ability to query data (i.e. SQL)
  • BS/BA or advanced degree with significant coursework or experience in a quantitative discipline (economics, mathematics, engineering, operations research, statistics, decision science, etc.)
  • Interest in optimization problem-solving, economic game theory, and consumer buying behavior
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
