This position contributes to Starbucks success by supporting and leading the growth of our foodservice business in North America, through partnership with Nestle.
The director of foodservice will work to develop and support key strategies of growth for our foodservice business, including supporting the launch of key innovation platforms, expansion of new machines, and growth into new channels. The director of foodservice will also work to develop brand materials and programs that bring the Starbucks brand to life in foodservice.
This position must be able to influence with impact, both with cross-functional leadership at Starbucks, and with leadership at Nestle. As a result, a proven track record of developing strong relationships, driving results, and excellent communication skills are paramount for this role.
The director of foodservice will be responsible for leading and inspiring their partners, and the broader channel organization, to build best in class talent and lead strong growth in this critical part of our business.

Leadership - Setting goals for the work group, developing organizational capability, and modeling how we work together
Planning and Execution - Developing strategic and operational plans for the work group, managing execution, and measuring results
Business Requirements - Providing functional expertise and executing functional responsibilities
Partner Development & Team Building - Providing partners with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and building effective teams

Education (minimum education level, degree or certification necessary):
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
Skills (minimum skills required):
Minimum 10 years of strategic sales/key account management experience.
Extraordinary ability to build relationships cross functionally with both internal and external teams.
Significant beverage/foodservice industry knowledge preferred.
Track record & passion for developing people and leading teams.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong work ethic: self-motivated and able to work independently.
Years of experience in specific field or utilizing designated skills (minimum needed to be qualified:
Experience in outside sales in consumer products/foodservice with large revenue sales (10+ years)
Leadership/people development (7+ years)
