Our experienced staff of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Mental Health Specialists, Parent Partners and other therapists/counselors provide case management, mental health care and a range of support services in our outpatient clinics and 24/7 treatment facilities, and in community settings such as schools and homes. Our dedicated teams work collaboratively and in partnership with family members, school administrators and faculty, county social workers, case managers, probation officers and other community-based agencies.

JOB SUMMARY:  This position has primary responsibility for clinical and operational oversight of the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). Responsible for ensuring adherence to licensing/oversight regulations and company policies.




Master's degree in a social science field.


At least eight (8) years of experience in a behavioral health field and two (2) years in a leadership role.

License or Certification

BBS Licensed as LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psychologist

Ability to provide Clinical Supervision per BBS regulations

Valid California Driver's License.

  4. Demonstrated understanding of psychiatric illness and its treatment.
  5. Demonstrated ability to identify, provide and guide teams in crisis intervention and management.
  6. Ability to interact and communicate both verbally and in writing with Children/TAY, families, schools, other staff, physicians, county agencies, other health care and social services providers and the public.
  7. Ability to understand and work with Children/TAY from diverse cultural backgrounds in a positive manner.
  8. Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of residential program operations and services.
  9. Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of county and community-based agencies.



  1. Ability to sit for long periods, up to 3 hours at a time.
  2. Ability to drive within the community in personal and company vehicles.
  3. Ability to physically perform Pro-ACT.



  1. Potential for eye and wrist strain from computer screen and minor lacerations from paper cuts.
  2. Interaction with potentially assaultive participants.

Essential Duties

  1. Hires, trains, and supervises team members as assigned.
  2. Oversees the operational and clinical functions of the CSU.
  3. Ensures evidence-informed practices are integrated into services.
  4. Uses in vivo supervision as appropriate.
  5. Ensures accurate oversight of documentation timelines for the CSU.
  6. Ensures accurate and thorough oversight of clinical services and documentation provided by CSU staff.
  7. Provides other trainings as necessary and appropriate.
  8. Partners with the Psychiatrist and other contractors and consultants to ensure their services are integrated into the clinical treatment with the highest level of quality attainable.
  9. Ensures timely and accurate attention to incidents and unusual occurrences related to clients enrolled in the CSU.
  10. Be part of and available for assignment to the Managerial on-call rotation for after-hours facility/client emergencies. Participates in administrative supervision of the facility as an On-Call Manager
