I. Job Summary
The Drive Thru Associate interacts with the customer by greeting and assisting them in the drive thru area of our operation and, once load is complete, thanking them for their business. This is a highly-visible position and is most important the individual is personable, friendly, and courteous at all times. Building material knowledge is preferred but not required. Heavy loading, stacking, cleaning, and assisting with delivery of lumber and building materials is performed daily.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
A. Must be familiar and in compliance with Stine Policies and Procedures.
B. Handle heavy and bulky building materials and safely load customers' vehicles.
C. Go on deliveries with drivers to help unload and carry building materials to job sites.
D. Help receiving unload any trucks that have to be hand-unloaded (ex.: insulation trucks, window trucks, etc.)
E. Stack lumber in bins, straighten all lumber, etc.
F.Pick up steel banding, trash, and 2x4's; sweep, cut grass, etc.
G. Help stock inside store with merchandise received.
H. Maintain area assigned by yard manager.
I. Operation of fork lift (over 18 years of age only).

II. Qualifications
A. Education: Basic education which includes ability to competently read and write.
B. Training and Experience: No training or experience is required but must have writing and reading skills.
C. Job Knowledge: Building material knowledge is preferred.
D. Physical Demands: Work requires much physical effort; involves little sitting, standing, walking, and some heavy lifting on a regular basis. Works in a non-air-conditioned environment. (Important: This job is classified in the physical demands section of the job description [Form IV-31] as constant heavy work and occasional extra heavy work. This form must be reviewed with and signed by the applicant.)
