Manages all timelines, budgets, conference calls, approvals/submissions, and project libraries for store design projects. Hires and manages preferred vendors for millwork, lighting, and construction as needed. Reviews all technical drawings from architects, fixture fabricators, and GC. Assists in management of architects and interior designers throughout project life spans. Maintains the Sub-Zero Group store design libraries for application on all future projects. Provides design solutions for store design and visual merchandising needs


Responsibilities include:

Current Store Design Project Coordination:

  • Manages timelines and budgets for all new builds and refreshes in brick and mortar retail
  • Writes timelines for each design/construction project
  • Leads construction and design calls for key stakeholders on each project
  • Gathers approvals and submission needs between internal team, vendors and clients.
  • Hires and Manages national vendors for Millwork, Lighting, Construction, Electrical, Etc.
  • Reviews all construction drawings and millwork drawings for design, construction, and code concerns (electrical, plumbing, ADA compliance, etc.)
  • Maintains an accurate library of all construction drawings, finishes, and notes
  • Audit existing displays and coordinate improvement
  • Create and manage project budget
  • Manage approximately 8-12 projects per year
  • Travel requirement is 30-40%


Site Visits/Surveys/Punch walks

  • Reviews site conditions for upcoming projects
  • Accurately captures dimensions and detail needs for vendors, if requested
  • Reviews final execution by construction, design, and fabrication vendors


  • Bachelors degree or better

  • Budgeting experience
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience coordinating projects through multiple teams and levels for approvals
  • Exceptional organizational skills to support the needs of the design team
  • Ability to multi-task on multiple projects running simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills
  • Extensive vendor management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with experience utilizing SharePoint
  • Proficiency in ACAD, Revit, and Sketchup desired
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience working with large format graphics for retail interiors
  • Visual Merchandising experience
  • Experience with luxury brands
  • Experience with the Adobe creative suite is desired
  • 5 year(s): Understanding of architectural drawings, millwork shop drawings, lighting cut sheets, finish specifications, and appliance installation needs
