The Special Treatment and Research (STAR) Program at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, New York is seeking a highly motivated board certified/board eligible infectious disease attending to join our distinguished team in providing HIV primary care and inpatient infectious diseases consults. The candidate will have opportunities to provide Hepatitis C treatment, LGBTQ+ care, buprenorphine treatment, STI care, and biomedical interventions (PrEP/PEP). A successful candidate will demonstrate leadership skills, strong clinical capability, and will be eligible for appointment at the Clinical Assistant Professor level.

Requirements:
M.D. with board certification or board eligibility in infectious diseases. A minimum of three years of experience providing care to HIV-infected patients. Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Training in infectious disease, plus two years of experience in the supervision of clinical staff preferred. Experience in treating Hepatitis C preferred.
