Job Profile Summary
The Field Marketing Manager II (FMM) is the local Chief Marketing Officer responsible for providing Marketing expertise, thought leadership and strategy to elevate brand awareness/preference and drive business opportunity for a designated geography.
Identifies gaps, trends and influences that exist within their Market and recommends sound and actionable marketing strategies
Creates and implements the successful local marketing plans incorporating the full range of marketing resources and distribution channels. Determines and acts on long term marketing and Customer strategies to ensure they are effectively supporting the Market's business needs
Pursues, develops, implements and evaluates community partnerships, marketing sponsorships and sales promotions to leverage TD Bank in the Market
Negotiates sponsorships and promotions with local sports venues and other organizations
Manages all Store local marketing events that include community events, in-Store marketing activities, Grand Openings, and Business Networking Receptions and VIP parties
Manages assigned Marketing budget for the Market in which they serve
Evaluates the effectiveness of programs, ensuring budgets are met, stated goals are achieved and learnings are well documented and communicated to senior Market partners
Designs and executes local promotional campaigns and tracks and reports results to Marketing and Market leadership
Identifies when there is a need for change and can make recommendations for change
Bachelor's degree or work experience equivalent to Bachelor's degree required
Advanced degree in business or marketing communications preferred
Experience in managing medium to large projects including meeting deadlines and staying with budget
Experience and understanding of retail and/or financial industry marketing techniques, advertising and creative methods
Demonstrated knowledge of sales development strategies and tactics
PC skills - Microsoft Office Suite
Proven organization, presentation and communication skills
Proven creative ability and resourcefulness in generating new ideas and solving problems
Proven collaborative skills to build and maintain proactive involvement with all levels of staff and community members
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills that foster teamwork
