Job Description

TD Bank, National Association (TD Bank) in Mount Laurel, New Jersey seeks an Operational Risk Manager I to lead its Dodd-Frank Act Stress Testing (“DFAST”) and Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (“CCAR”) program efforts, develop and manage its DFAST/CCAR operational risk stress testing methodology and procedures, and ensure all regulatory requirements for stress testing of operational risk losses and capital are met. Responsibilities include: collaborating with stakeholders to ensure engagement in the development and implementation of TD's DFAST/CCAR methodology; managing relationships with regulators and ensuring regulatory deliverables are completed within the required timeframe and meet regulator expectations and standards; building TD's CCAR program with a focus on providing a sustainable risk management benefit; providing oversight over the adequacy of the operating model and governance activities for the operational risk DFAST/CCAR program, including reviewing edits made by junior managers and analysts; directing periodic evaluations and benchmarking of TD's stress testing methodology and results against industry results and best practices; overseeing the assessment of gaps in current practices and ensuring these gaps are addressed in methodology; keeping abreast of financial markets as well as stress testing estimation techniques, emerging best practices and regulations affecting TD's stress testing program; overseeing training of staff to enable them to meet department objectives and challenges; and ensuring TD's program continues to meet the evolving U.S. regulatory expectations on operational risk stress testing.
