The Creative Group is seeking a Marketing and Events Specialist to support one of our industry-leading clients in Washington, DC. To succeed in this role, it takes strong problem-solving, strategic thinking and organizational abilities. This career advancing opportunity will require equal parts strategy and execution to ensure the success of various high-level events. As the Marketing and Events Specialist, the selected candidate will work alongside the Communications and Marketing team, under the supervision of the Director of Event Strategy and Programming, to develop strategic goals and project timelines, create marketing collateral, and promote content to drive attendee participation and engagement. Marketing and Event Specialist Responsibilities: Develop and support high-level event strategies and measurement programs Establish project plans, event content deliverables, and schedules Identify and manage appropriate vendors, event staff, volunteers, and interns, while staying on budget Work cross-departmentally with Marketing team to successfully promote and market all marketing content Oversee events to ensure seamless execution, identify areas for improvement, and incorporate feedback Draft compelling content for e-blasts, websites, collateral, and social media platforms Marketing and Event Specialist Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field 3-5+ years of experience in marketing, content development, event management or similar field Strategic project management and execution experience Skills in building and establishing relationships with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams Ability to multitask and meet deadlines within fast-paced environments Experience managing budgets Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with peers and stakeholders Strong writing, editing, project management, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM preferred Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite If you are interested and immediately available for this opportunity, please submit your updated resume to email@example.com, to be considered.
