- Lead a team of Account Managers to ensure comprehensive penetration into the academic market.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure the strong presence
- Work close with management team to submit timely forecast and pipeline
- Manage, develop, coach and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved, and monthly sales target are met.
- Ability to use sales tools, organize and accurately forecast territory results, provide market intelligence, implement value selling and meet sales objectives
- Monitor competitive activity and industry trends, fosters competitive solutions to meet sales goals.
- Keep manager abreast of any new developments in the marketplace (competitive, product, customer, wins/losses, etc...)
- Present the company's products in a positive manner and maintain/build our reputation in the marketplace.
- Maintain intensity, persistence and continually strive to increase market share.
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline
- Proven track record in sales preferably gained from the academic market
- At least 3 years of experience in managing a successful team with an MNC
