The Human Resources Director, HR Business Partner, will serve as the strategic HR liaison for the global Clinical Supply Solutions (CSS) business unit and the Client Services (CS) function within the Clinical Trials Division (CTD). As HR Director, you understand that in today's market, innovative and forward-thinking people strategy is integral to short and long-term business success. To achieve this, you will collaborate with business leaders and executives to turn strategy into action, resolving talent gaps and seizing opportunities that support our goals of hiring, engaging, developing, and retaining outstanding talent.
How will you make an impact?
As a trusted advisor to the business, you will translate business strategy and objectives into goals and strategic workforce plans in alignment with business imperatives (talent management, organizational development, performance management, career development, employee relations, compensation planning and change leadership). Important is the ability to demonstrate learning and leadership agility, showing a curiosity and passion for our mission, setting priorities and taking action in an organized, proactive manner.
What will you do?
Develop a strategic human resource plan to support and drive the needs of the business; including attracting, developing and retaining top talent.
Confer with business leaders in areas such as change management, organizational assessment, succession planning, and work force planning in order to strengthen overall organizational capability and accelerate talent development.
Partner with the business & functional leadership teams and field and platform HR colleagues to provide guidance on activities that shape culture and drive employee engagement.
Keep abreast of industry, market and functional trends, and uses these insights to develop appropriate business unit HR strategies and solutions.
Perform other duties as assigned including Group and Division talent initiatives, projects and programs.
How will you get here?
Bachelor's degree in Business, HR or related field is required. Business and financial acumen is highly recommended.
8-10 years of progressive experience in all aspects of Human Resources
Experience as the lead HR Business Partner for a business and experience supporting multiple business lines preferred.
Experience operating in a highly matrix organization environment. Ability to influence across geographic/functional lines around the world.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Proven experience in developing strategic solutions and ability to plan, implement and deliver business results.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), along with ability to build positive professional relationships, influence leaders and use negotiation skills with various levels in the organization is required.
Successful management coaching experience, with a strong bias for timely action and results.
Shown success leading organizational change and redesigns in a customer and talent centric manner.
Ability to influence and work within a global matrixed model.
Ability to gain trust, respect, and support through business knowledge and functional competence.
Travel, including global travel, up to 50%.
