How will you make an impact?

Responsible for operational process equipment maintenance in one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies. Maintaining equipment in compliance with preventive maintenance program and conform to cGMP and Right First Time performance will be your main responsibility.

What will you do?

  • Leads staff by developing and empowering, cultivating relationships, putting staff in a position to succeed, meeting their personal career goals; while also achieving organizational goals, driving engagement and creating a climate where the staff is motivated to do their best.
  • Monitors and controls on a continuous basis the maintenance expenditures. Recommends equipment improvements and expense saving opportunities.
  • Allocates and manages resources (people and budget) in support of unit and site. Provides guidance to staff on technical and non-technical issues. Establishes necessities and plans for outside contractor backup assistance.
  • Provides plans and direction to assign programs and systems in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
  • Implements and manages the work for maintaining equipment and improving reliability. Establish and monitors KPI's to support manufacturing requirements.
  • Develops performance plans and conducts appraisal reviews.
  • Manages the maintenance operational group, provides staffing and support.

How will you get here?


  • B.Sc. in Engineering (preferably chemical, industrial, mechanical) and/or equivalent combination of experience and science degree may be evaluated


  • 10+ years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including managerial experience


Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment operations and process flow
  • GMP regulatory knowledge (HPFBI, FDA)
  • Strategic thinking and good business acumen
  • Ability to drive change and support continuous improvement
