The Regional Marketing Manager for N. America, Food Protection will be responsible for driving
localized commercial execution for the full suite of food protection products across his/her region.
He/she will work closely with the Commercial organization to guide and support them with analysis,
targeting, and customer-specific sales approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
 Develop and implement a winning regional marketing plan for his/her region aligned to
the Annual Operating Plan
 Develop and execute marketing campaigns, whether region-wide or country-specific
 Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in his/her territory
 Proactively collect market intelligence in his/her territory, feeding it back into the
organization to drive better strategic planning and execution
 Support Commercial organization with customer targeting, support material (e.g., totalcost-
of-ownership models, battle cards, etc.), and expert guidance on clinical products
 Create business cases for (regional-specific) New Product Initiations
 Join on high-value sales calls as the clinical products expert

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Sales/Marketing degree or microbiology degree preferred but not required
  • 3-5 years' experience in direct sales with food customers
  • Experience in marketing or experience collaborating closely with regional marketing colleagues while in Sales
  • English required; one additional language in territory preferred
  • Ability to create strategic plans, translate them to tactical programs, and drive execution
  • Strong track record of driving improvement in business performance

  • Willingness to travel (25%-50%)
