This Business Banking Relationship Manager Team Leader / Small Business Lender Team Leader will be a key leader of U.S. Bank's involvement in the local Dubuque and Clinton, IA and Rockford and Freeport, IL markets as an active community leader, volunteer, and representative for U.S. Bank's products and services. This role focuses on leading the Business Banking team, growing revenue by successfully prospecting for new business, and retaining and expanding existing customer relationships. Responsibilities include: - approving loans within assigned limits - managing loan and portfolio credit quality - sourcing prospects and developing new customer relationships - providing financial advice to customers - selling appropriate bank products and services to those prospects and clients - making appropriate referrals - managing a small team of Business Banking Relationship Managers (3 or more) This Business Banking Team Leader will serve as the resident expert on business credits, various treasury management products, business equipment, and investment and municipal financial services. This role is a key part of our larger team with local Branch Managers, Small Business Specialists, Wealth Management, Treasury Management, and Commercial Lenders as well as Retail and Commercial Lending leadership. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Seven to ten years of community/commercial banking experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Thorough knowledge of bank products and services that results in successfully identifying products and services that meet customer needs
- Strong business development/sales and relationship management skills
- Understands and applies command of complex financial accounting and analysis

- Prior management experience

- Advanced knowledge of credit and credit quality
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships
- Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation and strong verbal and written communication skills
