CODAS brings together leaders from across UCI, including the Office of the Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning, the School of Education, and numerous other disciplines. We aim to support researchers and educators in the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data towards a common mission of ensuring equitable student success and creating more diverse and inclusive institutions of higher education. Applies organizational policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. This position will serve as survey coordinator and manage the administration of survey measures to assist the Measuring Undergraduate Success Trajectory (UCI-MUST) project that aims to get a better understanding of the undergraduate experience and undergraduate success. The incumbent will enter established survey measures into the Qualtrics online survey tool, administer surveys to cohorts of UCI undergraduates, collect data, clean and code data, work with graduate students and investigators, and train and mentor undergraduate research assistants. Will work closely with the PI and lab group on research investigating undergraduate education and supporting institutional improvement efforts.   Compensation Range:   $21.31 - $31.13   Department Website: https://ovptl.uci.edu/ Required: 1-3 years of experience in related field. Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training. May have basic knowledge in data collection and analysis techniques. Requires active listening, critical thinking and good interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task. Must have effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead a team. Demonstrated ability to organize work, attention to detail, and to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to use a computer and software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite, and SPSS.   Preferred: Experience with data collection, cleaning, and analyses of survey and assessment data. Experience with Qualtrics or other survey design software. Statistics training (including basic hypothesis testing as well as more advanced Frequentist techniques) and skills using Mplus, R, SAS, STATA or equivalent statistics software.   Special Conditions Required: Must be available for on-site meetings, as requested.   Final candidate subject to background check.
