Position Summary: The Diet Clerk is under the direct supervision of the Clinical Nutritional Manager and the Patient Service Manager. He/she provides a high quality of individualized service to the patients.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent GED.
Licensure/Certification: Not applicable.
Experience: Two years experience in a hospital food service department preferred. Basic understanding of Diet Therapy/Modification also preferred.
Skills: Requires good communication skills.
MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK ADDITIONAL SHIFTS OR VARYING HOURS TO MEET THE OPERATIONAL NEEDS OF THE DEPARTMENT.
