Cargo Insurance, ParcelPro™ Select (PPS), UPS® Customized Declared Value (CDV) and UPS Proactive Response® Secure (UPRS) are products that are currently offered. Additional team members will be required to further support the expansion and growth.

The Industrial Engineering (IE) Specialist is responsible for providing internal support finding ways to eliminate wastefulness in processes. She/he devises efficient ways that integrate human resources, systems and information to provide a better customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

Conducts Auditing and Control:

  • Creating new processes using a BPM Software
  • Optimizing existing internal processes
  • Creating work step guidance (Desk Level Procedures)
  • Working with management team to implement functional change commitments
  • Conducting audits as needed to identify areas or processes that are out of compliance
  • Monitoring departments for adherence to plan and identifying any areas out of compliance for review with leadership

Assists in Plan Development:

  • Identifying areas where plans may need adjustments
  • Assisting in planning renovation of facilities and equipment for better utilization of space
  • Assuming project management responsibilities

Assists in Work Measurement Development:

  • Gathering and analyzing data to develop work measurement for any departments

Required Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree – University or University of Applied Sciences, Engineering preferred
  • Proficient English language skills, both oral and written, business fluent (at least C1 level)
  • Basic German language skills, both oral and written (at least B2 level)
  • Proficient MS-Office Skills – Word, PowerPoint, Excel - SQL experience desirable
  • Work experience with Cloud Meeting Platforms
  • Strong organizational/planning, and executional skills
  • Consistent time management skills
  • Ability to work in an agile environment
